Finally here – Arrival in Cape Town!

After touching down in Cape Town around 9:30pm on Sunday night, the four of us picked up our rental car and drove straight to Lindi’s apartment. We were all exhausted from the long trip and ready to get to bed since we were supposed to be at the clinic bright and early the next morning. Lindi had graciously agreed to let us stay at her apartment for the two weeks that we are here. Arriving at her apartment, we got the warmest welcome one could have hoped for. Not only did she leave us with her apartment for the two weeks, but it turned out that she had also organized breakfast for the next morning, left welcome chocolates on our beds, and done everything possible to make us feel right at home. What a treat! Thank you, Lindi.
